문화공원(울산)

💡 개요

명덕호수공원

💡 개요

울산 동구에 위치한 명덕호수공원은 본래 현대중공업 공업용수 공급을 위해 만든 저수지로 일반인들이 접근 불가한 곳이었지만, 2010년 3월에 현대중공업이 동구와 협약을 맺으면서 주민들을 위해 무상 임대한 곳이다. 이곳은 열린길, 돌안길, 솔향길 등 다양한 테마의 호수공원길이 조성되어 있다. 또한 아치형 다리인 공원의 상징 해맞이교와 어린이 놀이터 등도 이용 가능하다.

간월산

💡 개요

약 1,500년 전 이 산기슭에 간월사라는 사찰이 있어서 산 이름도 간월산이라 하였다. 간월산의 높이는 1,069m이고, 주위에는 1,000m 내외의 가지산, 고헌산, 백운산, 능동산, 천황산, 신불산 등이 이어져 있다. 또한 이들 산지의 1,000m 내외 산정 일대에는 경사가 완만한 산정평탄면이 발달하여 독특한 경관을 나타낸다. 간월산은 주말이면 부산, 경남 산악인들이 즐겨 찾는 곳으로 8월 초면 정상 주변의 키 작은 억새와 어울린 산나리꽃이 만발해 장관을 연출한다. 긴둥재 아래 동쪽으로 저승골을 비롯해 천 길 바윗골이 간월골짜기를 이루면서 태화강으로 흘러들어 울산평야에 이른다. 서쪽으로 내리정과 왕봉골 등 깊은 골짜기를 파놓아 사철 마르지 청정수는 배내골로 흐르고 여름이면 간월산에서 흐르는 골짜기마다 더위를 피해 찾아온 야영객과 피서인파가 북적댄다. 간월고개에서 파래소 쪽 왕봉골의 신간로를 따라 내려가다 보면 죽림굴이라는 천연동굴이 있는데 지금은 천주교 성지로 많은 가톨릭 신자가 찾는 곳이다.

1999년 폐교된 척과 초등학교 서사 분교의 부지에 2001년 개원하였다 울산들꽃학습원은 초·중·고등학교 교과서에 나오는 교재 식물과 울산 주변에서 자생하는 야생화를 심어 학생들에게 우리 꽃의 아름다움과 소중함을 일깨우는 자연 친화적인 식물 생태학습 공간인 동시에 교원들의 연수처로 이용된다. 식물원은 야생화원, 덩굴식물원, 농작물원, 향기식물원, 상록수원, 양지식물원, 습지식물원, 약용식물원, 수목원 등 식물 식재지에 수목류 300여 종, 초화류 230여 종, 농작물류 70여 종과 다양한 수중, 수생, 습지 식물을 키우고 있다. 생태체험관에는 멸종 위기 동·식물의 보전과 복원 사업의 일환으로 현대자동차와 협력하여 꼬리명주나비 생태학습장을 조성하였고 건물 1층은 전시 및 체험공간으로 태화강 민물고기 전시장이 있으며 2층에는 식물 탐구 학습실, 체험재료 보관실, 들꽃 체험실, 사계절 생태놀이 체험실, 들꽃 갤러리가 있다.
